The survey of the inspection in Romanian hospitals

On 1st February 2006, Eugen Nicolaescu, the Minister of Public Health together with inspectors of the the Sanitary State Inspection started a series of controls in order to establish „ the factual problems from the hospitals”. Two weeks have already gone, and the survey of the inspection realized until now shows what is the quality of medical utilities we benefit.

The Romanian education in European context

It is yet uncertain that the Romanian educational system is really in a “free-fall”, but the statistics regarding the level of preparation of the young generation are, to say the least, alarming. The best educational barometer, still, is represented by the student... If, for example, only one Romanian university student out of three graduates with a diploma, and at grammar school level we are positioned on the 34th place on the educational Eurotop, the situation is more serious when it comes to the school years that an average Romanian attends in a lifetime (only 13,5 years of study – high-school and grammar levels) and to the budget alloted to education (only 4% of the national yearly G.D.P.).

Although the “carnival” of the Romanian LGBT citizens took place, under the permanent terror of “the defenders of the good Christian Romanian vices and behavior”, the public meeting itself had been represented by bad taste, nothing concrete being solved, again.
